Convicted drinks driver can carry on teaching

A TEACHER who had two children in her car while more than three times over the legal drink-drive limit is being allowed to continue teaching.

Linsey Aitken, 44, was spotted by police swerving across the M9 with a 13 year-old girl and a 15-year-old girl in her car after downing glasses of whisky earlier in the day.

Music teacher Aitken – who was caught after a fellow motorist called the police to report her erratic driving – gave a positive breath test of 156mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath after being stopped on January 13. The legal limit is 35mg.
