Cotton camera

Scots-born photographer Albert Watson poses in front of one of his artworks during a preview of the exhibition, Albert Watson – Visions Feat.

Cotton Made in Africa, in Hamburg, Germany.

The show displays images taken by the renowned celebrity photographer on a trip to Benin as part of the Cotton Made in Africa (CmiA) initiative. Watson, from Dalkeith, spent two weeks recording day-to-day life in the west African country and documenting the work of CmiA, which is an aid by trade scheme developed to help smallholder farmers.
