HIGHLAND councillors have agreed that if "exotic" nuclear fuel material is to be moved from Dounreay to Sellafield, it should be transported by rail rather than road.

But they also want any money saved in sending it to the Cumbrian plant, rather than building a new facility at Dounreay, to be invested in Caithness.
