BARMAID Emily Beedham checks out one of the beers on offer at the Craft Beer Rising event which is being held in Glasgow this weekend.

The 22-year-old is holding a pint of Bearface lager in the brewery of Drygate Brewing Company at Wellpark in Dennistoun, which is hosting the beer, music and food festival today, tomorrow and Sunday.

More than 40 brewers will be offering about 200 beers during the event, which is being held outside of London for the first time. Breweries in attendance include: Siren, Beavertown, Thistly Cross, West, Harbour, Camden Town, Fyne Ales, Williams Brothers and Tempest Brew Company.

It runs from midday to midnight with tickets costing £20 per session. Tickets can be purchased at www.craftbeerrising.co.uk
