Crimestoppers has renewed its reward for information on an unsolved murder in Nairn.
The independent crime-fighting charity is offering of up to £5,000 for information about the murder of Alistair Wilson, 30, who was shot at his home in Crescent Road, Nairn on Sunday, November 28 2004.
Mr Wilson's wife, Veronica, opened the door to a stocky man, aged 35-40, wearing a dark jacket and baseball cap, who asked for her husband by name, at 7.10pm. Mr Wilson spoke to the visitor and went back inside to speak to his wife before returning to the door, where he was shot. He died in hospital at 8.15pm.
Angela Parker, Crimestoppers' Scotland national manager, said: "This crime is now approaching its ten year anniversary. We would ask that anyone who thinks they may have information relating to this, no matter how small, should come forward and finally help Alistair's family obtain the answers they seek. All information passed to Crimestoppers is kept anonymous, a guarantee that has never been broken, so no-one need be in fear of their identity being revealed."
