Criminals' luxury cars to be auctioned

ALMOST £350,000 worth of luxury cars have been seized from criminals in Scotland in the past six months.

The vehicles, which include sports cars, convertibles and top-of-the-range Range Rovers, were taken from fraudsters, thieves and gangsters who bought them with money from their illegal activities.

Strathclyde Police have seized the vehicles under the Proceeds of Crime Act, and they will be auctioned to raise money for local community projects.
