GREAT Britain's Olympic silver medal winning men's curlers are unable to leave the ice behind, even when they are training for the Bank of Scotland Great Scottish Run.

The Lockerbie-based team of skip David Murdoch, Greg Drummond, Michael Goodfellow and Scott Andrews, who lost out to Canada in the final at the Sochi winter games in February, were at Braehead ice rink yesterday ahead of the run, which will take place on October 4 and October 5 through Glasgow.
