Dancing in the aisles

BALLET was one of the less conventional features of a service in Glasgow Cathedral to mark the life of the man referred to as the founder of Glasgow.

The Visual Statement Dance Company performed at the ecumenical service to mark The Feast Of St Mungo, the saint being celebrated across the city.

The Catholic Archbishop of Glasgow, Philip Tartaglia, spoke at the service, part of the fourth annual St Mungo's Festival. Picture: Jamie Simpson
