Dawkins's bag lost on Scots trip

Professor Richard Dawkins, the author of best-seller The God Delusion, flew into the Wee Free heartland of the Hebrides but he was not happy after touching down.

There were no protests or placards to meet the world's best known atheist yesterday but the airline Loganair, which flies as Flybe, had lost his bag.

He said he had "essentials" in a small bag he had as hand luggage as desperate efforts were later being made to trace the case and fly it up to Stornoway on a later flight.
