Deal to sell printing company collapses

A MULTIMILLION-pound deal to sell family-owned printing firm John Watson & Co to the world's largest labelling conglomerate has fallen through.

The Glasgow-based firm, which specialises in producing labels and tube wraps for bottles of Scotch whisky and other spirits, had been the subject of a proposed sale to Canadian giant CCL in November last year.
