WORKERS have been left "devastated" after high-tech Edinburgh-based engineering firm Aerospace Machining Technology (AMT) announced it had gone into liquidation.
Dozens of workers are facing unemployment after AMT brought in liquidators KPMG to oversee its affairs.
The Unite union said that 70 people were affected by the collapse of the firm, which delivered the news to staff when they arrived for work on Wednesday morning.
