Degree honour for actress

BOLLYWOOD actress Sharmila Tagore has been honoured by a university for her contribution to Indian cinema.

Mrs Tagore, 66, who has appeared in more than 80 films spanning six decades, was made an Honorary Doctor of Arts by Edinburgh Napier University during a ceremony at the Usher Hall.
