Dentist is struck off for fraud

A dentist has been struck off after making £30,000 of false claims to the NHS.

Thomas Shanks, 55, who worked at T Allan Shanks & Associates' surgeries in Shettleston and Bailleston, both Glasgow, made false claims to reimburse money he said was spent on equipment, and for visits to patients he hadn't taken.
