Design hub wins £3m funding

AN INTERNATIONAL centre of innovation and design being made in the heart of Dundee's waterfront is to receive £3million of Government funding.

Culture Secretary Fiona Hyslop has confirmed the V&A project will receive the cash during a pre-opening programme at The McManus: Dundee's Art Gallery and Museum.

Ms Hyslop said: "V&A at Dundee is an international cultural project that will attract visitors from all over the world. It is also at the heart of this city's waterfront regeneration, the benefits of which are being appreciated across Scotland.
