Devastated bride’s tribute to husband killed by shark

THE widow of a British man who was killed by a shark during their honeymoon in the Seychelles has described how "a gaping hole" has been left in her heart.

Gemma Redmond, 27, spoke out after her husband Ian Redmond died from horrific injuries as he snorkelled off Praslin, the second-largest island in the Indian Ocean archipelago.

Mr Redmond succumbed to his injuries after being brought to the shore by two fellow tourists with severe leg and arm injuries. A doctor tended to the victim, who is believed to have died on the beach.
