Doctor botched operations

A SCOTTISH doctor has admitted botching spinal operations on three different patients.

Dr Colin Campbell Mainds also admitted failing to offer a chaperone to a female patient who he required to remove her top as part of an examination.

The 56-year-old doctor, who stays on the Isle of Arran, faces 50 charges of misconduct at a Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS) panel.
