Commonwealth Games athlete and animal lover Eilidh Child got the Scottish SPCA's annual Rehoming Week off to a flying start by taking to the track against an unlikely competitor.

The athlete, who is aiming for medals in the 400m hurdles and 400m relay at Glasgow 2014, is lending her support to raise awareness of the thousands of pets the charity re-homes every year.

Moss the collie gave Eilidh a run for her money over the hurdles at Grangemouth Stadium.
