THE queen of country Dolly Parton brought some Tennessee glamour to Glasgow as she played her first night at the SSE Hydro.

The singer-songwriter is playing two nights in the city as part of her world tour, which will include a headline performance at Glastonbury.

Last night's show included some of her most famous hits alongside songs from her 42nd album, Blue Smoke, which features a gospel version of Bon Jovi's Lay Your Hands On Me and a cover of Bob Dylan's Don't Think Twice, It's All Right.
