Drugs charges man in court

A MAN has appeared in court charged with drugs offences involving Mortal Kombat.

Jordan Thomson, 22, faces two charges of the supplying drugs and one charge of being concerned in the supply. He made no plea or declaration yesterday at Glasgow Sheriff Court and was released on bail.

Thomson, of Larkhall, South Lanarkshire, is expected to appear at a later date.

The police are continuing to investigate the death of a teenage girl who took ecstasy at a nightclub. Regane MacColl fell ill at The Arches in Glasgow at the weekend after taking a tablet known as Mortal Kombat.
