Eastleigh voters put pressure on Boris

Boris Johnson struggled to find any Conservative voters in a shambolic day for the party's Eastleigh by-election campaign.

The London Mayor faced hostility on the doorsteps as voters told him they were backing the opposition.

One man shouted to Mr Johnson that he had already voted for the LibDems.

Mr Johnson was forced to admit he did not agree with many of the views of his party's controversial candidate, Maria Hutchings, who opposes gay marriage and has criticised state schools.
