Energy boss gives up staff discount

THE chief executive of energy firm SSE has given up his staff discount on his energy bill and will donate it to charity.

Newly appointed Alistair Phillips-Davies revealed he had given up the £140 perk, after his predecessor, Ian Marchant, faced criticism for accepting the 12% reduction.
