Plans to tackle Scotland's appalling record on diet by ensuring that every teenager leaving school at least knows how to make a simple pot of broth are being discussed by food and Government officials.
The idea was proposed in a manifesto published by The Fife Diet, a group which aims to promote eating local foods and help improve cooking skills among young people.
