Extra 10,000 tickets released for Still Game's Hydro shows

A further 10,000 tickets are being released fro the Still Game shows at the Hydro in Glasgow.

The Hydro has announced an extra 500 seat per show.

All the new seats are said to have "fantastic views of the stage."

A statement from the organisers said: "With show creators Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill having now completed the top-secret script, show organisers and production designers have been able to look at the logistics of the staging, sets and seating and have secured an additional 500 seats per show."

To date, the show has sold nearly 200,000 seats across its 21 performance run.

The statement added: "With an additional 10,000 seats now going on sale, anyone yet to secure their tickets will be given a second chance to purchase top class seats."

The new seats will go on sale at 9am on Thursday August 7.
