FOLLOWING an initial heatwave, forecasters are now predicting that the Games may come to a damp end.

The Met Office said last night that more rain will come to Glasgow today, and could even turn into downpours as the day drags on.

A spokesman for the Met Office said: "Really unsettled is the words for the coming days, with plenty of showers.

"There should be more rain as we go into Friday, getting heavier as the day goes on. There is even the chance that showers could turn thundery."
