George McDonald, who has a history of mental illness and requires daily medication, vanished on New Year's Eve.
Although the 51-year-old, of Alloa, Clackmannanshire, is a keen fisherman and is capable of living outdoors and knows the Kinross, Tayside, Fife and the Borders areas, he can also be easily confused.
