The family of a man who died in a crash between a car and a lorry have paid tribute to him.

Stuart Campbell, 48, from Livingston, was driving a Skoda which collided with a lorry in Bridgeness Road, Bo'Ness, on Tuesday evening.

Police and paramedics were called but he was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The road was closed while officers investigated the scene and appealed for witnesses.

Mr Campbell's family released a statement through Police Scotland saying: "Stuart Douglas Campbell, aged 48, loving father, son, partner, brother, uncle, granddad, brother-in-law.

"He was a friend to many and loved by all. Stuart will be sorely missed."
