Ferguson brands Suarez 'disgrace' after Evra snub

SIR Alex Ferguson last night branded Liverpool striker Luis Suarez "a disgrace" to his football club after he failed to shake the hand of Manchester United defender Patrice Evra before the two sides clashed at Old Trafford.

Suarez, who has just returned from an eight-game ban after he was judged to have racially abused Evra, snubbed his opponent when the teams met during the traditional line-up before the game's kick off.

Ferguson later hit out over the gesture, calling on Liverpool to "get rid" of the Uruguayan. Manchester United went on to win the match 2-1.
