Ferries on Forth could be returning

A FERRY service across the Forth that last sailed nearly two decades ago could be running by next summer.

Pentland Ferries, which operates between Caithness and the southern tip of Orkney, want to introduce a passenger service between Burntisland and Granton harbour by next summer.

Andrew Banks, managing director, said talks to operate two commuter ferries are in the early-stages.
