'Festival on foot' raises cash for Maggie's

HUNDREDS of walkers took to the streets of Glasgow last night for a 10-mile walk in aid of the Maggie's cancer care charity.

TV presenter Kaye Adams kicked off the third annual hike from the Riverside Museum.

The "festival on foot" began with a party at the Riverside Museum and a zumba warm-up. Entertainment came from ladies barbershop quartet Mac4 and singer Jonny Downie en route to Maggie's Gartnavel.
