Fly the flag for armed forces

MEMBERS of the Royal Regiment of Scotland band join visitors in Edinburgh during a march on the Royal Mile to mark the start of Armed Forces Week.

Union flags will be raised at full mast throughout Britain today in preparation for the sixth annual Armed Forces Day, which is held on the last Saturday in June. Organisers say 10 Downing Street, government departments, local authority buildings and businesses will all fly the flag to show support for the men and women of Britain's Armed Forces, past and present.
