Football fans urged to plan for bad weather

WEATHER warnings have been issued for much of Scotland with forecasters predicting heavy falls of snow today.

The Met Office said the cold front would sweep into the country from the east before moving south. The latest warning was prompted by an air-mass that would be "cold for any time of the year, let alone March," a spokesman said.
