Former England head coach Sven-Goran Eriksson and actor Christopher Eccleston have settled their phone hacking damages claims for £30,000 each.

Details of the settlements in litigation brought against Mirror Group Newspapers are outlined in a document before Mr Justice Mann at the High Court in London.

The document also shows that ex-footballer Garry Flitcroft's claim has been settled for £20,000.

David and Victoria Beckham's former nanny Abbie Gibson has settled her case for £15,000, according to the court document produced for today's hearing on behalf of MGN.

In the document written by Matthew Nicklin QC, counsel for MGN, the judge was told that celebrity agent Phil Dale and Christie Roche, wife of actor Shane Ritchie, have both settled for £15,000.

The details emerged during the fifth case management conference relating to the MGN litigation.

At the start of today's proceedings, David Sherborne, representing claimants in the action, told the judge there are currently 28 claims registered.

The register was closed temporarily in August, he said, but he added there were "many more actions" which have been, or are soon to be, issued.

Earlier this week Trinity Mirror disclosed that it has agreed to pay compensation to a string of celebrities over alleged phone hacking.

It said in July that it had set aside £4 million to deal with civil claims over phone hacking.

MGN has admitted liability in four other cases where the amount of compensation has yet to be resolved.

They were brought by Richie, fellow soap actors Shobna Gulati and Lucy Benjamin, and TV executive Alan Yentob.

Among the new claims are EastEnders actor Jessie Wallace, ex-footballer Paul Gascoigne and Jude Law's former wife Sadie Frost.

Another case management hearing is due on October 7, with a trial expected next February.
