Four arrested in city drugs raids

Four people have been arrested and £154,000 of drugs seized in a series of police raids in Edinburgh.

Officers, working as part of Operation Altogether, searched properties in Dumbiedykes, in the south-east of the city, last week.

A 49-year-old man was arrested when three kilogrammes of cocaine and amphetamine worth £154,000 were discovered in a property in Viewcraig Street on Monday last week. A replica gun was also seized along with £400 in cash, Lothian and Borders Police said.
