Officers, working as part of Operation Altogether, searched properties in Dumbiedykes, in the south-east of the city, last week.

A 49-year-old man was arrested when three kilogrammes of cocaine and amphetamine worth £154,000 were discovered in a property in Viewcraig Street on Monday last week. A replica gun was also seized along with £400 in cash, Lothian and Borders Police said.

Last Wednesday, a 33-year-old man was found to be in possession of a quantity of cannabis during a stop-and-search in Viewcraig Gardens, and on the Thursday a personal quantity of cannabis was discovered in a flat in Dumbiedykes Road.
