Funerals held for two victims of rally crash

THE funerals of two people killed when a rally car ploughed into a group of spectators took place yesterday.

Iain Provan, 64, and his partner, Elizabeth Allan, 63, were among three people killed when the car came off the road at the Jim Clark Rally in the Scottish Borders on May 31.

Mr Provan's funeral was held at Woodside crematorium, Paisley, and Ms Allan's funeral took place at Craigton crematorium, Glasgow.
