A 63-year-old woman from Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, was detained yesterday morning on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud and is currently being questioned at a police station in south London.
Miss Waugh, 50, vanished after a family party in April this year and her body was eventually found in a lock-up garage in New Malden, south-west London, on August 2.
