Gascoigne rehab back on course

FORMER Rangers footballer Paul Gascoigne is making progress in rehab, according to his former colleague and friend Gary Lineker.

Gascoigne started attending a specialist clinic in Arizona after causing concern in January with a shaky public appearance. A number of friends, including Lineker, helped pay for the treatment.

Initially, Gascoigne, who also played for Everton, Tottenham and Newcastle, suffered a bad reaction and spent some time in intensive care, but Lineker said at the weekend that he was back getting treatment.
