Girl, 14, raped in town park as she walked home

A 14-year-old girl has been raped in a "terrifying attack" as she walked home through a park.

She was attacked at 8.45pm yesterday in Saucelhill Park in Paisley, Strathclyde Police said.

The teenager was walking along the cycle path when she was approached by a male in his mid to late teens. He spoke to her but when she continued walking he grabbed her, pushed her to the ground and raped her.
