Girl, two, victim of dog attack

POLICE want to trace a pitbull-type dog which attacked a young girl.

The two-year-old was grabbed by the ankle and dragged to the ground as she walked with her mother in Brodie Park, Paisley.

The woman attempted to pull the dog from her daughter, but was bit on the hand. The man with the dog grabbed it and fled the scene following the incident at about 6pm on Saturday.
