Glasgow flats among worst for identity theft

Residents of a landmark building in Glasgow that has been converted into luxury flats are unwittingly living in one of the worst four places outside of London for the growing problem of identity fraud.

People are three-and-a-half times more likely to have personal documents stolen and used by thieves to apply for mobile phones and credit cards than the UK average if they live in the former Co-operative building in Morrison Street in the Tradeston area of the city.
