Glasgow gets ready for 'bounce' in 2014

PARALYMPIC heroes David Weir, Aileen McGlynn and Libby Clegg are among the names expected to compete at Glasgow's Commonwealth Games, as the city gears up for its biggest ever integrated sporting event.

As the curtain came down on the Olympics, Glasgow 2014 organisers said they were expecting the same "bounce" from the Paralympics as experienced after the main games ended last month.

Glasgow 2014 will have the biggest ever number of Para-Sport medal events in the history of the Commonwealth Games, which unlike the Olympics integrates its sporting programme.
