Glasgow is star attraction in Brad Pitt blockbuster

IT will be a dramatic tale of zombies, war and heroes – and this £80 million film will bring not only millions of pounds to the Glasgow economy, but one of Hollywood's biggest stars.

Last night it was confirmed Brad Pitt will be filming his new blockbuster movie World War Z in the city for two weeks in August. The film, based on the 2006 book by Max Brooks, will see Pitt play the central role of a fictional Brooks, who is piecing together what happened during a calamitous outbreak of zombie attacks, set in the near future.
