Glasgow makes right moves

DIVERSITY stars Perri Kiely and Jordan Banjo celebrate the news that the United Dance Organisation World Street Dance Championships is heading to the SECC this year.

Individual dancers and dance crews from about 30 countries will compete at the eighth annual event held in Glasgow from August 23-25. It is the first time the event is being held outside Blackpool's Winter Gardens.

Simon Dibley, United Dance Organisation chief executive, said: "Glasgow's excellent presentation coupled with the genuine warmth and distinctly stylish vibe of the city really appealed to us."
