Gray’s art show is new chapter

One of Scotland’s most acclaimed writers, painters and playwrights is to finally receive national recognition with the first display of his art at the National Galleries of Scotland.

Glasgow artist Alasdair Gray is widely regarded as one of the nation’s greatest polymaths, being the writer of classic Scottish novels such as Lanark and Poor Things, as well as a distinguished painter of murals and portraiture.
