Greetings from China
VOLUNTEER teacher Shujin Liu, from China, peers through a piece of paper which contains greetings in Mandarin.
Ms Liu, who is on an exchange visit to Glasgow University's Confucius Institute, read greetings such as 'hello my friends in Glasgow'. This year marks 10 years of promoting Chinese language and culture events at the university.
Confucius Institutes around the world which promote Chinese culture and language are celebrating the organisation's 10th anniversary. The university hosts a Confucius Institute in partnership with Ms Liu's Nankai University in Tianjin.
