Gun murder most costly police case

THE machine-gun killing of a man in Edinburgh is the most costly case of the new Scottish police force.

It saw 25-year-old Mohammed Abdi gunned down by rival Somalian drug dealers last May. Three men face life sentences after admitting the murder. The Police Scotland investigation into the case cost £323,486.
