If found guilty, the Belgian midfielder could be banned for at least four games.
He already faced an automatic three-game suspension after being red-carded for kicking out at ball boy Charlie Morgan, 17, during a League Cup semi-final tie at Swansea on Wednesday.
Morgan, the son of a Swansea City director, triggered Hazard's fury by smothering an out-of-play ball and holding on to it. Hazard claimed he was trying to get the ball back.
But there was better news for the Chelsea player when South Wales Police announced they will be taking no further action despite receiving "a number of calls from members of the public" following the incident.
A spokesman said: "We can confirm there is no longer any police involvement in this matter."
