Hess plane is sold

RUDOLPH Hess's crashed Messerschmitt Bf 110 has been sold at auction in New York for almost £5,000.

Hitler's No 2 had parachuted out before the accident at Eaglesham, East Renfrewshire, in May 1941, enroute to meet the Duke of Hamilton.
