Highlands come to the city

PRIZE-WINNING livestock will be the stars of the International Highland Cattle Show and family day at Pollok Country Park in Glasgow today and tomorrow.

Student vet Tessa Wilson, right, and Mel Sinclair met Masie and her calf on the eve of the show, which thousands of people are due to attend. The family event will include countryside crafts, music and dance events, martial arts, displays of Clydesdale horses and a farrier.
