Historic Shetland boat to be restored

A century-old ship's lifeboat used in the rescue of 10 men is being restored after spending almost 100 years upside down as a "lambie-hoose" on Shetland.

The historic 14-ft vessel was tethered to the side of the Peterhead-registered stream drifter Ugie Brae when she was sunk by a German submarine along with 15 other herring fishing boats on June 23, 1915.
