Hitting the peaks for charity

TWO company directors have set off on a challenge to cycle round the UK and scale its four highest peaks as a tribute to a ex-colleague who lost both legs while serving with the Army in Afghanistan.

Fraser Duff, 53, and Willie Hume, 49, were waved off from their office in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire, to begin their nine-day, 700-mile expedition.

The pair took on the task in aid of charity Help For Heroes after being inspired by the courage of Lieutenant Alistair Spearing, 28.
